About Mr. Clementi
I'm pleased to be entering my 10th year at Merion Mercy Academy. I received my undergraduate degree in Economics from Villanova University and my Law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. After a decade long career with ExxonMobil, I decided to return to my true passion, Social Studies education. In 2005 I began my career as an adjunct professor at Eastern, West Chester, Immaculata and Villanova Universities before joining the staff of Merion Mercy in 2008.
In addition to teaching APUSH, MUSH, Intro to Law, US Government and Psychology, I am extremely proud to coordinate our exceptional Mock Trial team. For the past three summers I have also been blessed to be a
2015 Graduation.jpegchaperone on the Mercy Volunteer Program Trip to Philadelphia. At home I enjoy reading history, hiking, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies and, of course, the 2016 National Champion Villanova University Basketball team.

The pictures at the top of this page and the one below are from my recent trip to the University of Colorado to attend a week long Glider Lehrman Institute of American History seminar. The lead scholar for the seminar, Professor Patty Limerick, is the Founder and Director of Center for the American West, and is recognized as the preeminent scholar in the field of American Western History. Suffice it to say it was an extraordinary opportunity!

As the father two college age children and one just starting high school, I feel incredibly blessed to be called to do the work I do. In this world, I have found no greater job satisfaction than being part of the process of help guide our "Merion girls" through the process of learning how to be "young women who live mercy and seek justice."
